about
Lynn Johnston and Eimer Ní Mhaoldomhnaigh
Lynn and Eimer have been working in the film industry for the last 30 years. Lynn is an Oscar nominated make up artist for her work on Albert Nobbs which starred Glenn Close and Eimer was Emmy nominated for her costume work on David Copperfield with Hugh Dancy and Sally Field.
Our shared credits include, The Banshees of Inisherin with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, The Professor and the Madman with Mel Gibson and Sean Penn, Love and Friendship with Kate Beckinsale and Chloë Sevigny, the Wind that Shakes the Barley and Breakfast on Pluto which both starred Cillian Murphy.
Our friendship bonded many years ago while working on a film in Morocco and travelling to and from set in the back of a mini bus through the desert landscape.
Over the years, we have encouraged each other to pursue our shared love of drawing and painting. We have been regular and irregular students of Sam Horler and The Drawing School in Dublin and we have also attended numerous paintings workshops.
The idea behind the collective is to bring together like minded people with a love of creativity and a wish to improve their drawing and painting skills.
